Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider’s server automatically records technical details of each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system type, and the page you came from. This data is used to run the site, keep it secure and fix problems. We do not combine it with other information to identify you, and it is kept for a limited period under the hosting provider’s policy.
Live-rate calculator
Some pages have a calculator showing roughly how much of a coin you would get for a shekel amount. To show a current rate, your browser contacts api.coingecko.com, a service run by CoinGecko, directly. In doing so CoinGecko sees your IP address and your browser’s standard technical details, which it handles under its own privacy policy. To load faster, your browser may open a connection to that service in advance on any page. The amount you type into the calculator is not sent anywhere: the calculation happens in your browser.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set cookies, we do not use social-media pixels, and we do not run analytics or advertising tools. Fonts and images are served from our own server. If we ever add a tool that collects data, we will update this policy first.
External links
The site links to regulators, exchanges and other platforms, including buttons that lead to opening an account. Once you are on another website, its own privacy policy applies, and it may set its own cookies. We do not receive personal information about you from those sites.
Emailing us
If you write to contact@crypto-israel.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and handle your request, we do not sell or pass them on, and we keep them only as long as needed for that purpose. Please do not send identity documents, passwords or wallet recovery phrases.
Your rights
Information is handled in line with Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, 1981, as amended, including Amendment 13, which took effect in August 2025. You may ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by writing to the email address above. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can also contact Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority.
